Woooowww!!! It is such a pleasure to see Janeele Monae doing her thing!! We actually were one of the first media outlets to feature Janelle when she was starting out back in like 06. Janelle was on her grind going around to different university's and performing while building her underground fan base. She then went on to be signed to Big Boi's label called Purple Ribbon. You may remember seeing her as she was in the video for Morris Brown the first video to come off of the Idelwilde Soundtrack with Outkast. After the label failed, Monae was on the move hooking up with the Wonderland Arts Society. She continued to make good music while touring and gaining her following. She was picked up by Bad Boy . I am super excited for Janelle and I feel that back then, the world was not ready for the level of her talents. However they surely are now!!! CTP is honored to have been apart of Janelle's grind to the top!! Check this video out and "Let's Talk About It"!!
